  1. Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) - 5 years including SFY. Quota 50, GPA 3.50
  2. Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) - 5 years including SFY. Quota 12, GPA 3.00
  3. Bachelor of Pharmacy (Pharmacy) - 5 years including SFY. Quota 20, GPA 3.00
  4. Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Sciences (BLMS) - 4 years including SFY. Quota 20 GPA 3.00
  5. Bachelor of Medical Imaging Sciences (BMIS) - 4 years including SFY. Quota 20 GPA 3.00
  6. Diploma in Dental Technology (DDT) 3 years direct from Grade 12. Quota 5 GPA 3.00
  7. Diploma in Anaesthetic Sciences (DAS) - 1 year, for Nursing Officers & ATOs
  8. Diploma in Public Health - 1 year (for HEOs, Nurses, etc) Quota 20
  9. Bachelor in Clinical Nursing (BCN) - 1 year for Nurses. Quota is

   10. Bachelor of Nursing (Education and             Admin) - 20

Entry Requirement:
To get into the School of Medicine and Health Sciences, you must first complete the UPNG Science Foundation Year or it's equivalent with good passes and obtain a minimum GPA of 3.50 for MBBS, BOH/BDS, Pharmacy, BMLS & BMIS. We do consider students who also complete the SFY Program through the UPNG Open Campus and as well as those from the Pacific Adventist University, non-school leavers and overseas applicants.

Note: Streaming to the School of Medicine and Health Sciences is done in September/October after completion of the SFY program. The intake quota for the programs are quite small and hence very competitive. We only take the top cream of the Science Foundation Students (SFY).
